Please Forgive Me, directed by Anthony Mandler and soundtracked by Noah “40” Shebib using primarily music from Views, finds Drizzy at the epicenter of a whirlwind romance. It carries the dangers of both heartbreak and peril, reminiscent of his and Mandler’s 2009 extended video for “Find Your Love.” Very few details were revealed about the project before its release, but the absence of music videos for “One Dance,” Drake’s first #1 hit, and other extremely popular Views cuts like “Controlla” and “Too Good,” gave fans reason to believe a chunk of the 20 songs on Views would be incorporated into this top secret film venture.
